What is ASMR?

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a pleasant tingly sensation that some people can get from the top of their head through their spine and limbs. Some people experience it and others don't. Researchers who are researching about this phenomenon don't know why some people  don't experience it. Some common triggers or "tingles" include whispering. tapping, scratching, crinkling. role plays. personal attention, and eating sounds. This phenomenon helps people who have difficulty with: insomnia, depression, anxiety, stress. panic attack, and other difficulties. For me I use ASMR for relaxation and loneliness in case if I get lonely for some reason or if I just can't sleep.

Also, before you say, "Is ASMR sexual?" It's not sexual. There are at least a few weird ASMR videos that are on YouTube that I think to myself why are those types of videos on YouTube? I also think other questions too but this is my only question that I think about this part of this topic.

There are thousands of ASMR channels on YouTube. My favorite ASMR channel or ASMR artist is "Solfrid ASMR" This was the first ASMR channel I subscribed to on YouTube. Her channel and what she does for her videos is totally amazing. I wish I could explain in more detail what I like about her videos, but I don't want to go into more detail. But, I definitely recommend subscribing to her channel and also my channel too.

Once you watch at least one ASMR video you can't stop. It's really good. It can also calm you down before taking a test for university or school.

I hope all this information about What ASMR is and how I experience it too. If you want more information on what ASMR is I recommend going on Google or YouTube and finding your research or information that you need is there.

Take care!
